Designer Christopher Doyle said, “In every single project we have ever done, even the most successful ones, the ones we are most satisfied with, and feel the best about, there is at least one small thing I would change.”
I know exactly the feeling, and it’s deeper than design. It’s human nature. It’s the question of whether, for more than those blissful, fleeting moments, any of us are ever truly satisfied.
And on that happy note, I recorded a quick video so those that haven’t already can put a voice to the name. Might become a regular thing. Might not.
Features from Identity Designed
The Bát Tràng Museum stands as the first private museum authorized by the government within Bát Tràng Village. “We gave the museum a new name and created a unique custom typeface MN Vũ Thắng with “pottery-shoes-soul” inktrap touches.”
The Norfolk Coast is one of the UK’s best-loved and most at-risk tourist destinations. “Inspired by the sweeping landscapes of Norfolk’s coast and creeks we brought together the N and C of the brand name creating a unique symbol, paired with a visual language that’s full of energy and alive with nature.”
And from Logo Design Love
Graphic designer Alexandria Vernon kindly answered a few questions about her process when designing the Wonka logo. “…the studio wanted me to explore an elaborate W in a scripted style that eluded to Wonka’s mum’s handwriting in one of the beginning scenes.”
A little contention on social media about the chocolate brand Tony’s Chocolonely, “…you’re not wearing ‘the product photo logo’ on your T-shirt in your LinkedIn profile, instead, you’re wearing the real logo, the vector one, the one printed on the package that is found on shelves.”
Last, not least…
“Let’s make 2024 the year we get paid for all of our work.” nofreepitches.com
